The Economics Society is a student run club, established in the early 1970s, that finds a prominent place in the records of Shri Ram College of Commerce, whose primary aim has been to complement classroom curriculum with activities that make for a good learning experience.
The society was formed during the early 1970’s and over the years it has carved a legacy for itself. Its objective has always been to foster social and intellectual activity among students and facilitate discourse and dialogue on issues surrounding us. ‘Ceteris Paribus’ is our official blog which aims to bridge the gap between the theory and practicality of economics and provides a platform to the students to express their opinions and be heard. The Economics Society has also been organising the Shri Ram Economics Summit, India’s largest Undergraduate Economics summit, in addition to conferences and competitive events.
